“Faith causes us to step out and say or do what God places in our hearts, but fear causes us to timidly stay under control and domination.”
Joyce Meyer Ministries status update today. Wow how fitting!! How many people have not followed His prompting because of fear? He says He will give us the desires of our hearts. That is two fold if you ask me. He will give us the desire and then He will fulfill that desire. He has given me many desires, and then given them to my husband. Or the other way around. I never would have seen myself on 11 acres, that has been my husbands desire. He couldn’t see building a house debt free, that was mine. Through small and big life experiences we have come to the same desire through God. Lose the fear – He gives us desires, prompting, for a reason. A reason we may not know or understand at the moment. Even when we don’t know what or how it will work or happen. He does. That is what He wants. For us to rely on Him.
“By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8
He didn’t know where he was going, but he went, by faith! Imagine if he had not gone, what he would have missed!
On to the dirty details. And I do mean dirty. It’s a good thing that I.got used to dirt in the Country in the Big city around all those horses! Dirty doesnt begin to describe it! But Mr Man and Bou built us a bathroom today. Yay for showers and a potty! The air mattresses were worry every penny, I want to add, we all even slept in. Lovely! Got the kitchen/dining room a bit more organized. Pics tomorrow. We even had chicken and rice for dinner with smores for dessert. A first for most of the children. Sad I know. But really, who thought a good idea for dessert while camping for *children* would be marshmellows, chocolate and graham crackers?! Sugar, sugar, oh and more sugar?! Oh well, they loved it, made good memories (like mommy throwing the rest of Mr Littlest jumbo marshmellow on the fire when he apparently wasn’t done, oops…). Tomorrow will be our first actual full day of camping, not having to go to the store/set up anything/ect. Wish us luck! I dint know how I will keep everyone entertained and not fussing…
